Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist.

When activating the turn signal to change lanes, if there is a risk of collision with a rear-side vehicle, a warning tone is sounded. After the warning, if the risk of collision increases, it automatically intervenes in the steering of the i30 to help avoid a potential collision.

Only available on N Line DCT and N Line Premium variants.

Lane Follow Assist.

Detects lane markers and any vehicle on the road ahead using a front view camera embedded in the front wind¬shield, and assists the driver’s steering to help keep the vehicle centred between the lanes.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)

Combining radar and camera data, the FCA system autonomously activates the brakes when it detects dangerous and sudden braking by the car ahead or pedestrians and cyclists on the road.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW)

At speeds of 64km/h and above, Driver Attentio Warning (DAW) uses the windshield-mounted camera to continually monitor the i30’s position in a lane, while also tracking steering, brake pedal use, and time since your last break.  When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, the system gets your attention with an alert plus a pop-up message suggesting you take a rest stop.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The TPMS displays the real-time PSI pressure for each individual tyre onto the instrument cluster, warning the driver of sudden pressure drops or deviations.

Wireless smartphone charger.[A1]

Mounted in the centre console, wireless charging is as simple as placing your phone on the charging pad.
