If I have my vehicle serviced by someone other than a Hyundai Dealer, will this void my warranty?

The required scheduled maintenance services can be carried out by someone other than a Hyundai dealership, however, the service provider must comply with the requirements of the warranty and issue detailed service invoice documentation to substantiate that the maintenance was carried out as per manufacturer’s recommendation for the warranty to remain valid. The information that is required on the auditable invoice must include the following; VIN/Chassis Number of the vehicle, registration number of the vehicle, kilometres at the time of service, date of the service, type and grade of oils and lubricants used. These detailed invoices must be kept and provided for review whenever requested to ensure the validity of the new car warranty. We recommend using Hyundai iCare Service Centres who can provide Hyundai Trained Technicians using Hyundai Genuine Parts to ensure the integrity of your new car warranty.
